Murder She Said (1961)

A bouncy, breezy good time, bolstered by the brilliantly ballsy Margaret Rutherford. Did I use enough B’s? As with most Christie adaptations, if you know the ending, than it’s a tad more difficult to get swept up in the intrigue. Being my first time, I found this light murder-mystery to be charming and even cheekily meta (a Christie novella is seen at one point). Kudos as well to Ronnie Raymond for his mischievous Alexander, although credit should absolutely be shared for the (obvious) dubbing by Martin Stephens.

And holy shit. I think Thorley Walters and Hal Holbrook were separated at birth.
